Cat of the Week: 23rd August

Our second cat of the week is Beanie, The Exotic Shorthair.

Beanie has that kind of face you just find too cute, the kind you want to crush its so f-ing adorable  (Is this a normal reaction or just me?)

Born in December of last year this cat seems to be the eternal kitten, with two large eyes that almost pop.

What are you wearing:

I am wearing a dress from Forever 21 (purchased while traveling in Shanghai, and realizing I needed much much lighter clothes to wear), flats from Blowfish Shoes (there's a big sale right now ladies!), a bracelet from a shop in Seoul, and glasses from a street stall in Seoul.

What inspires your style: 
Since I lived in South Korea for 4 years, I am pretty influenced by cutesy styles and designs, but think I've toned it down a bit since I've returned to the states. Still, I usually like to wear things that I think look sweet. I love floral patterns and belted dresses and skirts. I think my style is a bit of a cross between Korean and American style these days.

Tell us a little about your cat:

My cat's name is Belafonte and he is an 8-month-old exotic shorthair! He is a snorter and tends to be anti-social, unlike his BFF Lavender. He loves to eat, nap in awkward places, and has routine "crazytime" (that's what we call it) every night around 9pm.

The drawings and comic observations of a girl named Yasmine, Cat Vs Human is a delightful tumblr that delivers that daily dose of comic musings, where all us Cat owners can grin and mumble stuff like 'Oh that's so true' 'Arn't cat's the best'.

Sweet Fur is a Tumblr belonging to the owner of what must be the largest collection of cuties alive. This Tumblr is rarely updated but for one of their videos alone its worth the follow.

Cat of the Week 14th August

Lavebeli first cat of the week is the quite amazing Oki, a gorgeous Persian. Featured on his Tumblr, Oki posts some adorable gifs that haven't had enough attention.   

In Oki's own words he likes " playing in plastic bags and boxes; playing hide and seek, playing with bouncy balls and string; eating treats and having naps." 

There is no question this cat is f-ing brilliant. Check out his tumblr here. Of course maybe I love him so much is because of his uncanny resemblance to this wood working god.
